Fresh and Clean: A Simple Liver Flush
Detoxing ain't always easy. Especially not when you run into a detox block like a congested liver. This issue alone causes many people with chronic illness to fail on their protocol and they have no idea why. Are you on a healing path but keep having reactions or symptom flares? Does it feel like you are doing everything right but still not making progress? Then you may be dealing with a congested liver and or gallbladder...
The liver is responsible for over 500 processes in our body. It breaks down toxins, makes proteins, enzymes, hormones, and much more. In healing, it is vital to support your liver function. If it's congested or having issues then you may experience the following:
night sweats
waking between 1 and 3 am
skin rashes or acne
anger and irritability
new food intolerances
inability to tolerate supplements
hormone imbalances
headaches
brain fog
body aches
feel "hungover"
blurry vision
tendon pain
yellow coloring to skin or eyes
Causes of Liver Congestion
The liver is a powerful and hardy organ, able to repair itself. But it can only take so much abuse before it begins to wear down. Here are some of the ways that it gets overworked and overburdened:
Standard American Diet
Pesticides/Herbicides
Preservatives and food dyes
Heavy metals
Excess alcohol intake
Mold exposures
Chronic infections
Parasites
Environmental toxins
Dehydration
Lack of exercise
Methylation issues
Vitamin/Mineral deficiences
Stress/Trauma
Solution: A Simple Liver Flush
Here is a simple liver flush you can do a few times per year or even more often if needed. It takes 6 days to perform and is very gentle. The first 5 days help to prepare the liver and soften debris within the gallbladder, preparing it for the flush. On the last day you give the liver/gallbladder a break with either a fast or low fat diet. Then that night you drink a Liver Flush shot that clears out the liver and contracts the gallbladder to flush it out. The next day you do two coffee enemas to further support the liver and clear the bowels.
Days 1-4
-Take 500mg of Malic acid with every meal
-Eat your normal diet
-OPTIONAL UPGRADE: 1000mg of Phosphotidylcholine with each meal
-OPTIONAL UPGRADE 2: 2 capsules of KL Support from CELLCORE 2x/day
Day 5
-Either fast or eat a VERY low fat diet this day.
-Continue to take the malic acid at least twice on this day.
-That evening make your Liver Flush Shot and consume before bed
*1/2 cup of Grapefruit or Lemon Juice (Orange if you don't tolerate the others)
* 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-Try to fall asleep on your right side
-Send positive thoughts to your liver
Day 6
-Wake up and consume 500-1000ml of filtered water
-Take a dose of toxin binders
-Do a coffee enema in the morning
-Eat a light breakfast
-2 hours later do one more coffee enema
There are many other options for Liver/Gallbladder flushes but I have found this one to be easy and gentle, yet very effective.
